In this technologically advanced world, things change within a fraction of seconds. New developments take place at a lightning speed, especially in the domain of gadgets. A wide array of gadgets is available nowadays, but out of all of them smart phones are the one with the biggest market share. They have become an indispensable component of our lifestyle. For many people, their super hectic routine is a total vain without this device.
Smart Phones
have transformed everyone’s life. People have become aficionados
and the addiction has grown up to such an extent that it seems impossible to imagine
a single second without phones. People are going crazy for innovative
and advanced gadgets. And, to boost this craziness, Russia has come up with
double-sided smart phones.
Yota Devices,
a Moscow-based Russian modem developer has developed this handset to break into
foreign markets. The company has been developing this phone since 2010, however
they have come up with the final output on 4th December, 2013. They
presented their first handset to the Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev. This
double-sided smart phone is company’s first discovery in the world of smart
phones. The company has decided to launch this innovative smart phone next year
in 20 countries. As if now they have launched this only in Russia, Austria,
France, Germany and Spain. And, they have no plans to launch this device in the
competitive US market.
For
international marketing and sales, the company has now joined hands with
distributors like Ingram Micro Inc and Brodos. The YotaPhones are available in
Russian stores for 19,990 roubles against the same memory device of Apple’s
iPhone 5C at a price around 29,000 roubles.
Whereas, in UAE and Europe this device is available for $600 and 499
Euros respectively.
Russian
Developer, Yota Devices stand nowhere in the battle against prominent smart
phone giants such as Apple, Samsung, and Nokia. But still company is putting
all its efforts to do the best. The device designed by Yota is based on
Google’s Android mobile operating system. It is assembled in China from the
components made in Japan and Taiwan. It has 4.3-inch capacitive LCD display on
the front side and 4.3-inch electronic paper screen at the back. This
electronic paper display is always switched on and is designed to imitate
appearance of ordinary ink on paper. Front LCD screen is for calling and other
traditional purposes, whereas backside paper screen can stream text messages,
social media, maps, breaking news, weather, etc.
Yota Devices
has already received around 10,000 pre-orders through its various online stores
for this extraordinary device. So, now the question is that how many consumers
are going to try this innovative device by a debutante firm.

Thank you for such an insightful information. I feel this Russian Company will definitely give a strong competition to many prominent international brands.
